1865 Foundation of the porcelain manufactory W. HALDENWANGER in Berlin Charlottenburg, Germany, by Wilhelm Haldenwanger.
1882 Move to Berlin Spandau, Germany. Alfred Bruno Schwarz is the new owner of the company.
1896 First major trade fair in Berlin
1910 Production extended with the manufacture of ceramic tubes
1945 Reconstruction of the factory site in Berlin Spandau, Germany, which had been mostly destroyed.
1962 Opening of the sales office and warehouse on Dusseldorf, particularly for the purpose of fast supply and support of the steel industry in the Ruhr region.
1963 Foundation of the Works II and III in Waldkraiburg, Germany, central body preparation and R & D
1970 Relocation of Works I to the industrial estate of Berlin-Spandau
1971 Foundation of the sales office Export Technische Keramik in Waldkraiburg/Munich, Germany.
1985 Move and enlargement of the new Works III in Waldkraiburg, Germany
1986 Foundation of the sales office Bolt Technical Ceramics, USA
1990 Foundation of Works IV in Waldkraiburg, Germany and start of the production of Halsic-I and Halsic-R
1993 Joint venture partnership in Yixing HALDENWANGER Fine Ceramics Co. China. Joint venture partnership in Luoyang HALDENWANGER Fine Ceramics Co. China.
1994 Certification to DIN EN ISO 9001
1997 Member of Morgan Crucible Company PLC, UK
1999 Foundation of Morgan Technical Ceramics European Sales Office in Munich-Unterfoehring, Germany
2002 Joint venture Yixing: 70% majority. Foundation of Sales Office in Shanghai, China
2004 Production, development and sales units brought together at the Waldkraiburg location.
2006 Production of ballistic ceramics begins. Environmental management system; certification to DIN EN ISO 14001:2005
